Blount County Commission Blog

Thursday, April 30th, 2009
Good evening!

Just wanted to drop a note and let those who read know that I have requested that the idea to allow Blount County Commission to have a blog that follows the pilot program that Knox County has used for the last year will be on the agenda for the next commission meeting.  The actual request will be for the IT committee to investigate and see if the means and money exist in the budget for this to happen.

More to come later.

To Be or Not To Be…..This is the question!

Continue or not?

CommissionerWalker.com blog is drawing near its 1 year anniversary and with this comes time to renew or not. The question of the day Should the CommissionerWalker.com blog continue to exist or should it fade by the way side?

Looking for Blog Authors

Afternoon!

I am looking for a few trustworthy (free) authors to begin to generate articles here on CommissionerWalker.com.  I would like to begin with a few from the 8th Commission District which would include those in Hubbard, Oakview, Townsend and Walland.

The idea is that there are many subjects that may or may not be addressed at the County Commission level but still they have a following and interest throughout the whole 8th Commission District.  If you are interested in participating please contact me at Mike@commissionerwalker.com or as always you can post a comment here.  I would asked that you leave contact information so I can get in touch with you to find out a little more about you and the area of interest you have.

Thanks!

Mike
